E&I Technician, Supervisor, QC, WPR, Fire Watch and Safety Officer
Industrial projects require experienced technical and safety personnel who can work according to strict client standards and established site procedures. A major manpower requirement is currently open for a Yanbu project, with opportunities available for E&I Technicians, E&I Supervisors, E&I Quality Control personnel, WPRs, Fire Watch workers, and Safety Officers. Apex Workforce Solutions – Jubail is recruiting candidates for a two-month assignment that may be extended. Several positions specifically require SABIC approval and relevant project experience, while food is provided by the company.
Understanding the Current Project Requirement
The recruitment covers several important roles within electrical and instrumentation, work permit control, fire safety, and occupational safety. E&I personnel support electrical and instrumentation activities, while supervisors coordinate technical teams and monitor site progress. Quality Control professionals help maintain required standards during project activities. WPRs support controlled work through permit procedures, while Fire Watch workers monitor designated areas for potential fire hazards. Safety Officers help maintain compliance with workplace safety requirements and project procedures.
Responsibilities Across the Available Positions
E&I Technicians may be involved in installation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and other electrical or instrumentation activities according to project instructions. E&I Supervisors generally coordinate technicians, monitor work progress, and communicate technical requirements to site teams. E&I Q/C personnel focus on inspections, quality checks, documentation, and ensuring work meets applicable specifications.
WPRs are responsible for handling work permit requirements and communicating permit conditions to work teams. Fire Watch personnel remain alert around assigned work areas and monitor for potential fire risks. Safety Officers monitor site activities, identify hazards, support safety procedures, and communicate requirements to workers and supervisors. Exact duties may vary according to the project and should be confirmed during recruitment.
Skills, Experience and Eligibility
Candidates should have relevant experience in the position they are applying for, along with SABIC project experience where specified. SABIC approval is mandatory for the E&I Technician, E&I Supervisor, E&I Q/C, WPR, and Fire Watch positions. The Safety Officer role requires both SABIC and EPM approval. WPR applicants must have an Iqama profession of Supervisor, while the Safety Officer’s Iqama profession must match the required position.
