Description
The Pipe Fitter and Electrician roles are vital for supporting large-scale industrial and commercial projects. Pipe Fitters are responsible for installing and maintaining piping systems used in firefighting, water supply, and industrial processes, while Electricians handle electrical systems including fire alarm networks and power distribution. The purpose of these roles is to ensure that all mechanical and electrical systems are installed correctly, function efficiently, and meet safety standards. These jobs are essential in maintaining operational continuity in construction sites, industrial plants, and infrastructure projects across the region.
Key Responsibilities
Pipe Fitters will be responsible for performing pipe threading, grooving, fabrication, installation, and painting work as required by project specifications. They must ensure proper alignment and secure fitting of all piping systems, especially those related to firefighting networks. Electricians will be responsible for installing G.I conduits, laying electrical cables, fixing devices, and setting up fire alarm systems. Both roles require strict adherence to safety protocols, proper use of tools and equipment, and coordination with supervisors and other technical teams to complete tasks efficiently and on schedule.
Skills and Knowledge
Applicants must have relevant experience in industrial or construction environments, preferably in Gulf countries. Pipe Fitters should have strong knowledge of firefighting systems, pipe fabrication techniques, and installation standards. Electricians must be skilled in electrical wiring, conduit installation, fire alarm systems, and troubleshooting electrical faults. Candidates should be able to read technical drawings and follow engineering instructions accurately. Basic understanding of safety regulations and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment are essential. Prior experience in AJEER-based projects will be an added advantage for selection.
