Key Responsibilities and Work Duties
A Fire Watch is responsible for continuously monitoring hot work operations such as welding, cutting, and grinding to identify and eliminate fire hazards. Daily responsibilities include inspecting work areas before and after hot work, ensuring fire extinguishers and emergency equipment are readily available, reporting unsafe conditions, and maintaining communication with supervisors and safety personnel. Fire Watch personnel also verify compliance with site safety procedures, respond promptly to emergencies, and assist in maintaining a safe working environment. Attention to detail, constant vigilance, and commitment to workplace safety are essential for successful performance in this position.
Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
Applicants should possess relevant experience in industrial safety or Fire Watch duties and demonstrate a strong understanding of fire prevention procedures. Applicants must also provide a valid Absher Iqama, Muqeem, Passport Copy, Insurance, and meet the company’s body fitness requirement.
