Job Description
The Fire Watcher is responsible for monitoring all hot work activities on industrial sites to prevent fire hazards and ensure strict compliance with safety regulations. The role involves continuous observation of welding, cutting, and other high-risk operations while ensuring that all safety precautions are in place. Fire Watchers act as the first line of defense against fire incidents and contribute significantly to maintaining a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will monitor hot work areas, identify fire hazards, and ensure compliance with approved safety procedures. Responsibilities include inspecting the work area before, during, and after operations, maintaining constant vigilance, and using firefighting equipment when necessary. Fire Watchers must also report unsafe conditions immediately, coordinate with safety officers, and ensure that all safety protocols are strictly followed at all times.
Skills and Knowledge
Applicants must hold a valid Aramco-approved Fire Watch Certificate along with previous Aramco project experience.
