Job Description
Firewatch personnel, Permit Receivers, and Safety Officers play a critical role in maintaining workplace safety on industrial project sites. Firewatch staff monitor hot work activities to prevent fire hazards, Permit Receivers ensure compliance with permit-to-work systems, and Safety Officers oversee overall site safety operations. These roles collectively ensure that all activities are performed in accordance with safety regulations and project standards.
Key Responsibilities
Firewatch candidates will monitor welding and hot work areas to prevent fire incidents and ensure safe working conditions. Permit Receivers will review and authorize work permits, verify site readiness, and coordinate with supervisors. Safety Officers will conduct inspections, enforce safety rules, and ensure compliance with SASREF and industrial safety standards. All roles require active monitoring, hazard identification, and strict adherence to safety procedures.
