Forklift operators play an important role in industrial and construction projects by safely moving materials, equipment, and heavy loads around busy work sites. An urgent requirement is currently open for 2 Aramco Approved Forklift Operators in Jizan. The position involves operating a JCB 940-4, 4-ton forklift, and the final rate will be determined after the required skills test.
Role Overview & Importance
The Forklift Operator is responsible for handling and transporting materials safely while following site traffic rules, lifting procedures, and equipment operating guidelines. In large industrial projects, experienced operators help prevent material-handling delays and reduce the risk of damage to equipment, materials, and surrounding work areas.
Because this requirement is specifically for an Aramco Approved Operator, candidates should already have the appropriate credentials and practical experience needed for the assigned equipment.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
The selected operators will be expected to operate the JCB 940-4 forklift safely and efficiently, including loading, unloading, lifting, positioning, and transporting materials within the designated work area. Daily responsibilities may also include checking the equipment before operation, identifying visible defects, maintaining safe load-handling practices, and following instructions from supervisors.
Operators must maintain awareness of pedestrians, other vehicles, site obstacles, and changing working conditions. Proper communication with ground personnel is also essential when maneuvering or positioning heavy loads.
Skills, Experience & Eligibility
Applicants should have practical forklift operating experience and hold the required Aramco approval. Candidates must be capable of operating a 4-ton JCB 940-4 and should be prepared to demonstrate their operating ability through the employer’s test.
A valid SPSP card is specifically required, and candidates must bring the original card to the office. Chamber documentation and colour copies of the required documents are also requested.
The rate is not fixed in the advertisement and will be finalized after the candidate successfully completes the required test.
