Job Description

The HSE Officer is responsible for implementing health, safety, and environmental policies across project operations. The role focuses on identifying workplace hazards, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, conducting inspections, and promoting a strong safety culture among project personnel. HSE Officers play a vital role in reducing workplace risks and maintaining a safe working environment.

Main Duties

The selected candidate will conduct daily site safety inspections, monitor work activities, identify potential hazards, and ensure compliance with company and client safety procedures. Responsibilities include preparing safety reports, conducting toolbox talks, participating in incident investigations, maintaining HSE documentation, and supporting continuous safety improvement initiatives throughout the project.

Required Skills & Experience

Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years of original Oil & Gas industry experience with supporting approvals and documentation. Candidates should hold OSHA, NEBOSH IGC, First Aid, and BLS certifications. A Diploma or Graduation qualification is mandatory. Strong knowledge of industrial safety practices, risk assessment, emergency response procedures, and HSE management systems is essential.
