QC Supervisor & Inspector Jobs

Description

Quality Control (QC) roles are highly critical in industrial and oil & gas projects across , especially in large-scale restoration and maintenance operations. These positions ensure that all engineering, piping, welding, coating, and instrumentation activities are executed according to approved project specifications, international codes, and client requirements. In major industrial zones such as and surrounding restoration projects like Ras Tanura facilities, QC professionals play a key role in maintaining safety, reliability, and long-term performance of plant systems. Companies prefer ARAMCO-approved inspectors because they are already familiar with strict inspection procedures and documentation standards. QC supervisors and inspectors are responsible for ensuring that every stage of fabrication and installation meets quality benchmarks without defects or deviations. Their work directly impacts project safety, operational efficiency, and compliance with industry regulations. Without strong QC teams, industrial projects risk delays, rework, and costly failures, making these roles essential in the oil & gas sector.

Key Responsibilities

QC professionals are responsible for inspecting, verifying, and ensuring the quality of all construction and maintenance activities on-site. QC Piping Supervisors oversee piping installation, welding quality, and compliance with approved drawings and project specifications. QC Welding Supervisors and Inspectors monitor welding operations, ensure proper procedure qualification, and verify weld quality through visual and technical inspection methods. NDT Coordinators manage non-destructive testing activities, coordinate with third-party agencies, and ensure all test reports meet project requirements. QC Static & Rotary Inspectors are responsible for checking mechanical equipment, rotating machinery, and static installations for proper alignment and performance standards. QC Coating Inspectors verify surface preparation, coating thickness, and corrosion protection systems, while QC Instrumentation Inspectors ensure correct installation and calibration of instruments. All QC staff must maintain detailed inspection reports, communicate findings to project management, and ensure corrective actions are taken when required. Their responsibilities also include strict compliance with ARAMCO standards, safety regulations, and international quality codes to ensure project success.

Skills and Knowledge

Applicants for QC roles must have strong technical knowledge of inspection procedures, industrial standards, and project quality systems. Candidates should be experienced in piping, welding, coating, instrumentation, or NDT inspection depending on their role. ARAMCO project experience is highly preferred as it demonstrates familiarity with strict quality and safety requirements. Inspectors must understand engineering drawings, P&IDs, welding procedures (WPS/PQR), and international codes such as ASME, API, and ASTM. Strong documentation skills are essential for preparing inspection reports, test records, and compliance documentation. Good communication skills are required to coordinate with engineers, contractors, and client representatives. Candidates should also be capable of working in high-pressure environments and meeting strict project deadlines. Experience in restoration or shutdown projects is considered an added advantage. All applicants must ensure their certificates, qualifications, and supporting documents are valid and ready for verification before submission.
