Role Overview and Importance
A Level 3 Rigger plays an important role in professional lifting operations by preparing loads, selecting suitable rigging equipment, and coordinating safely with crane operators and other members of the lifting team. Proper rigging is essential because incorrect load attachment, poor signaling, or unsuitable lifting equipment can create serious risks at an industrial worksite. Experienced riggers help ensure that lifting activities are performed in a controlled manner while following project procedures and approved safety practices. For this vacancy, TUV certification at Rigger Level 3 is specifically required.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
The selected riggers may be responsible for inspecting lifting accessories before use, preparing and securing loads, selecting appropriate slings and related equipment, and communicating clearly with crane operators through recognized signals. They may also assist with positioning suspended loads, maintaining exclusion zones, and ensuring that lifting activities follow approved instructions. A Level 3 Rigger should understand load stability, lifting limitations, safe working practices, and the importance of reporting damaged or unsuitable equipment. Coordination with supervisors, operators, and other rigging personnel will be an important part of daily work.
Skills, Experience and Eligibility
Applicants should have relevant practical experience in industrial lifting and rigging and must hold the required TUV Rigger Level 3 certification. Candidates should be physically capable of performing demanding site work and have a strong understanding of rigging safety and communication procedures.
