Main Responsibilities on the Project
Selected Riggers may prepare and secure loads before lifting operations, select and use suitable rigging accessories, and assist with positioning materials at designated locations. They may inspect slings, shackles, hooks, and other lifting equipment before use and report damaged or unsuitable equipment to the responsible supervisor. During lifting activities, the rigger will communicate with crane operators and other members of the lifting crew, guide suspended loads, and maintain safe distances from moving equipment. Following approved lifting procedures, maintaining good housekeeping, and complying with site safety requirements will be essential parts of the assignment.
Skills, Experience & Eligibility
