RiggerLevel l lll , wpR (Long Term)
Industrial projects require experienced personnel who can handle lifting operations and controlled work activities safely and efficiently. Riggers and Work Permit Receivers are especially important when projects involve heavy equipment, complex lifting tasks, and strict permit-to-work procedures. PKC has announced an urgent recruitment drive dated 19 August 2026 for Aramco-approved Riggers and WPRs in Jazan. The vacancies offer long-term employment with immediate mobilization for candidates who meet the required approval, card validity, and document conditions.
Specialized Roles for Industrial Project Work
The recruitment covers three technical positions: Rigger Level 1, Rigger Level 3, and Work Permit Receiver. Rigger Level 1 personnel support lifting operations involving heavy loads and require strong knowledge of rigging practices. Rigger Level 3 workers handle rigging activities according to their assigned responsibilities and approved procedures. WPRs support the permit-to-work process by ensuring work teams understand and follow the conditions under which authorized activities can be performed.
Responsibilities and Daily Work
Riggers may prepare and secure loads, inspect lifting accessories, attach slings and other equipment, guide suspended materials, and communicate with crane operators during lifting operations. They should ensure that rigging equipment is suitable and report damaged or unsafe items before use. WPRs may review work permits, communicate permit conditions to crews, coordinate with supervisors and safety personnel, and monitor activities to ensure work remains within approved permit requirements.
All selected workers should follow site procedures, maintain good housekeeping, use equipment responsibly, and report unsafe conditions immediately. Clear communication and attention to detail are particularly important in both rigging and permit-related roles.
Skills, Approval & Eligibility
Applicants should have relevant practical experience and the appropriate Aramco approval for the position they are applying for. The vacancy specifically requires Aramco Rigger Level 1, Aramco Rigger Level 3, and Aramco WPR credentials. The advertisement also states that the relevant card must be valid for at least six months.
Candidates must have documents with at least three months’ validity and should be prepared to provide colour copies. Ajeer is mandatory, and applicants are required to bring their original passport for verification. Candidates should ensure all credentials and documents are genuine and current.
