Permit Receivers are responsible for authorizing and monitoring work permits before any task begins, ensuring all safety requirements are fulfilled. Fire Watch personnel play a critical role in observing hot work areas and preventing fire hazards during welding or cutting operations. Safety Officers are responsible for overseeing site-wide safety compliance, conducting inspections, and enforcing regulations. These roles are essential for maintaining safe working conditions in high-risk industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities
Selected candidates will be required to perform duties strictly according to SABTANK shutdown safety standards and project instructions. Permit Receivers must review, approve, and monitor work permits while ensuring all safety checks are completed before job execution. Fire Watch personnel will continuously monitor work areas for fire risks, especially during welding or hot work activities, and respond immediately to any emergency situation. Safety Officers will conduct regular site inspections, identify hazards, and enforce safety compliance across all operational zones. All personnel must ensure proper use of PPE, maintain communication with supervisors, and report any unsafe conditions immediately. Strict adherence to shutdown procedures, safety protocols, and teamwork is essential for successful project execution.
Skills and Knowledge
Applicants must hold valid SABTANK-approved cards and have prior experience in shutdown or industrial safety environments.
