We are currently hiring for a highly specialized and urgent position of Radiation Safety Officer in Radiology for a long-term project located in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. This is not a general safety role; it is a dedicated radiological safety position requiring specific expertise and certification in radiation protection standards. The primary purpose of this role is to ensure the safe use of radiation equipment and compliance with strict health, safety, and environmental regulations within medical or industrial radiology environments. The selected candidate will play a critical role in protecting workers, patients, and the environment from unnecessary radiation exposure while ensuring all operations meet approved regulatory guidelines. This position demands high responsibility, technical understanding, and professional discipline due to the sensitive nature of radiological work.
Key Responsibilities
The Radiation Safety Officer will be responsible for monitoring all radiological activities and ensuring compliance with Saudi and international radiation safety standards. The role includes supervising radiation sources, checking exposure levels, and maintaining strict control over radiological equipment usage. The officer must ensure that all safety procedures are followed before, during, and after radiology operations. Regular inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits must be conducted to identify potential hazards.
