Safety Officer – Longterm Project

Primary Responsibilities of the Position
As a Safety Officer, you will be responsible for implementing workplace health, safety, and environmental policies while ensuring all project activities comply with company standards and legal regulations. Daily responsibilities include conducting safety inspections, identifying hazards, performing risk assessments, monitoring the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), investigating incidents, maintaining safety records, conducting toolbox talks, and ensuring employees follow approved safety procedures. You will work closely with engineers, supervisors, and project management to minimize workplace risks and maintain a safe and productive working environment throughout the project.
Required Skills, Qualifications & Experience
Applicants must have SAFCO E&PM project experience, as this is a mandatory requirement for selection. Candidates should possess strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations, hazard identification, emergency response procedures, and industrial safety standards. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills are essential for coordinating with project teams and promoting a positive safety culture.
