Role Overview and Purpose

Main Duties and Responsibilities
A Safety Officer is responsible for conducting regular site inspections to identify unsafe conditions and ensure all workers follow safety procedures. The role includes monitoring the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), conducting toolbox talks, and educating workers about workplace hazards and emergency procedures. The safety officer must investigate incidents, prepare safety reports, and coordinate with supervisors and management teams to implement corrective actions. Maintaining compliance with company safety policies and ensuring smooth project operations without accidents are key responsibilities of this role.
Required Skills, Experience, and Knowledge
Applicants must possess strong knowledge of occupational health and safety practices within construction and industrial environments. A valid original NEBOSH certificate is mandatory for this role. Candidates should have excellent observation skills, communication abilities, and the capability to manage safety procedures effectively on site. Prior experience as a Safety Officer in Saudi Arabia projects will be considered an advantage. Applicants must also hold a valid IQAMA with active insurance coverage under the IQAMA.
