Safety Officer / Scaffolder
Diamond Construction Co. Ltd (EDC Eastern) is urgently hiring experienced Safety Officers and Scaffolders for ongoing industrial projects in Ras Al Khair, Saudi Arabia. These roles are essential for maintaining workplace safety standards and ensuring proper execution of construction activities in compliance with industrial regulations. Safety Officers are responsible for enforcing safety protocols, while Scaffolders handle the erection and dismantling of scaffolding structures required for safe working access at construction sites.
Key Responsibilities and Job Duties
The Safety Officer will be responsible for monitoring site activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations, conducting inspections, identifying hazards, and implementing corrective actions. Duties also include conducting toolbox talks, preparing safety reports, and ensuring that all workers follow proper safety procedures and use protective equipment. The role requires constant supervision of high-risk activities to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment.
Scaffolders will be responsible for assembling and dismantling scaffolding structures according to project requirements and safety standards. They must ensure that scaffolding is properly installed, stable, and secure for workers performing elevated tasks. Additional responsibilities include inspecting scaffolding materials, making necessary adjustments, and ensuring compliance with site safety rules.
Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications
Applicants for Safety Officer positions must have relevant experience in industrial safety management, preferably with knowledge of EGC and FNS projects. Strong understanding of safety regulations, hazard control, and site inspection procedures is essential.
Scaffolders must have practical experience in scaffolding work, including erection and dismantling procedures. Knowledge of safety practices and working at heights is required. Candidates should be physically fit, disciplined, and able to work in demanding site conditions.
