Safety Officer, WPR and Fire Watch
An urgent manpower requirement has been announced for for an industrial project in Saudi Arabia. The recruitment is open for Safety Officers, Work Permit Receivers, and Fire Watch / Stand By Man positions. Candidates must have the relevant SAFCO approval, authorization, or ID required for their specific position. Qualified candidates with valid SAFCO credentials can be considered for immediate mobilization, while the project is initially planned for 3 months with possible extension.
Key Duties & Project Responsibilities
Safety Officers will monitor workplace activities, conduct safety inspections, identify hazards, and ensure workers comply with approved HSE procedures. WPRs will manage and coordinate work permits, verify permit requirements, and ensure authorized work is performed safely and according to site procedures. Fire Watch / SBM personnel will monitor assigned work areas, particularly during potentially hazardous activities, remain alert to fire and safety risks, and immediately report unsafe conditions. All selected workers will perform room-to-room duty and must follow project safety requirements.
Required Skills, Certifications & Eligibility
Candidates must have valid and relevant SAFCO approval or authorization for the position they are applying for. Safety Officer applicants must have SAFCO approval and a Safety Iqama profession. WPR candidates must possess a valid SAFCO authorization and have a Supervisor Iqama profession. Fire Watch / SBM candidates must also hold valid SAFCO authorization. Candidates with a valid SAFCO ID can be mobilized immediately, and their timesheet will reportedly begin from the start of their duty.
