Overview of the Role
AL Bayan Global General Contracting Est. is urgently hiring Safety Officers for a long-term oil and gas project located in Jafurah, Saudi Arabia. This position is focused on maintaining strict health, safety, and environmental standards in a high-risk industrial environment. The role requires experienced safety professionals who can effectively monitor site operations, enforce compliance, and prevent workplace incidents. Due to the nature of oil and gas projects, only qualified candidates with relevant certifications and proven experience will be considered for selection.
Key Responsibilities and Work Scope
Selected Safety Officers will be responsible for ensuring full compliance with site safety regulations and company policies. Their duties include conducting regular site inspections, identifying hazards, and implementing corrective actions to maintain a safe working environment. They will also conduct toolbox talks, monitor high-risk activities, and ensure proper usage of personal protective equipment (PPE) by all workers. Reporting incidents, maintaining safety records, and coordinating with supervisors and project management teams are also part of the role. The Safety Officer must ensure that all operations are carried out in accordance with industrial safety standards and project requirements.
Skills, Experience, and Required Knowledge
Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial or oil and gas projects. Mandatory certifications include NEBOSH, OSHA, and BLS training. Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety standards is required. Applicants must be capable of handling high-pressure site environments and ensuring strict compliance with safety regulations. Good communication skills, leadership ability, and attention to detail are essential. All documents must be valid and submitted in color copy format as per company requirements.
