Description
The purpose of these job roles is to support large-scale industrial activities within Maaden project environments where safety, precision, and compliance are top priorities. Each position plays a significant role in ensuring that all field operations are carried out according to approved engineering standards and strict safety regulations. Riggers assist in lifting and moving heavy equipment using specialized rigging tools, Safety Officers monitor site conditions and enforce safety procedures, while Permit Receivers ensure that all work activities are properly authorized before execution. These roles collectively contribute to minimizing risk and maintaining smooth workflow operations.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidates will be responsible for performing duties in accordance with Maaden site requirements and industrial safety guidelines. Riggers will handle lifting operations, inspect rigging equipment, and ensure proper communication during crane activities. Safety Officers will conduct regular inspections, identify hazards, enforce safety rules, and ensure compliance with occupational safety standards. Permit Receivers will manage work permits, coordinate with supervisors and engineers, verify documentation, and ensure all permits are closed after completion of tasks. All roles require strict attention to detail and adherence to workplace safety systems.
Skills and Knowledge
Applicants must have strong technical understanding relevant to their respective roles along with valid Maaden certification. Riggers should be knowledgeable in lifting techniques, load handling, and signaling procedures. Safety Officers must be trained in risk assessment, emergency response, and industrial safety regulations. Permit Receivers should understand permit-to-work systems, documentation procedures, and site coordination processes. Previous experience in oil & gas, construction, or industrial projects is highly preferred. Candidates must also demonstrate discipline, teamwork, and the ability to work under pressure in demanding site conditions.
