The role of a Scaffolder is highly important in construction, maintenance, and shutdown operations, especially in oil and gas facilities where safe working platforms are required at height. Scaffolding work ensures that all other trades can safely perform their tasks in elevated or difficult-to-access areas. This position demands discipline, safety awareness, and strong technical knowledge of scaffolding systems used in Aramco-standard projects.
Key Responsibilities and Work Scope
The selected Scaffolders will be responsible for assembling, dismantling, and modifying scaffolding structures according to site requirements. They must ensure that all scaffolding is installed safely and securely to support workers and materials during construction or maintenance activities. Regular inspection of scaffolding structures for stability and safety compliance is a key part of the job. Workers must follow site supervisor instructions and ensure adherence to all safety regulations. Coordination with other trades is also essential to ensure smooth workflow at the project site. Maintaining safety standards at all times is a top priority in this role.
Skills, Experience, and Required Knowledge
Candidates must have prior experience in scaffolding work, preferably in oil and gas or industrial projects. Knowledge of scaffolding erection techniques, safety procedures, and height work precautions is essential. Aramco vendor approval is required for eligibility in this project. Workers should be physically fit and capable of working in demanding outdoor environments. Basic understanding of industrial safety standards and teamwork ability is necessary. Candidates must be ready for immediate mobilization as the requirement is urgent.
