Job Role Overview & Importance
Scaffolders are essential workers in industrial construction projects, responsible for assembling and dismantling temporary structures that allow safe access to elevated work areas. In high-risk environments such as Tanajib, scaffolding must be installed with precision and strict adherence to safety standards.
TUV-certified scaffolders are especially important because certification ensures they are trained in international safety practices and structural stability requirements. Their work directly supports engineers, welders, inspectors, and maintenance teams by providing safe working platforms.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Selected scaffolders will be responsible for erecting, modifying, and dismantling scaffolding structures according to site requirements and safety guidelines. They must ensure all scaffolding systems are stable, properly secured, and safe for use by workers at height.
They will also inspect scaffolding before use, identify hazards, and ensure compliance with project safety standards. Coordination with supervisors and safety officers is required to ensure all scaffolding work aligns with project timelines and operational requirements.
In addition, scaffolders must handle tools and materials carefully, follow Ajeer-based work regulations, and maintain cleanliness and order at the worksite.
Skills, Experience & Eligibility
Applicants must hold valid TUV scaffolding certification and relevant experience in industrial or oil & gas projects. A valid Ajeer document is mandatory for selection.
Candidates should have strong knowledge of scaffolding safety procedures, load calculations, and site hazard awareness. Physical fitness, discipline, and ability to work in harsh site conditions are required.
