The Instrument Technician and Scaffolder positions play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations across industrial construction and maintenance sites. Instrument Technicians are responsible for installing, calibrating, maintaining, and repairing control instruments used in industrial systems. Their work ensures that all measurement and control equipment functions accurately, which is crucial for process efficiency and safety. Scaffolders, on the other hand, are responsible for erecting and dismantling scaffolding structures used to provide safe working platforms at various heights. Both roles are essential in supporting construction activities in oil, gas, and industrial projects where precision and safety are top priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Instrument Technicians are required to inspect, test, and maintain instrumentation systems, ensuring that all devices operate within required standards. They must troubleshoot faults, replace defective components, and assist in system calibration during project execution. Scaffolders are responsible for assembling scaffolding structures according to engineering drawings and safety regulations. They must ensure that all scaffolds are stable, secure, and capable of supporting workers and materials safely. Both roles require close coordination with supervisors, engineers, and safety officers to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently without compromising workplace safety.
Skills and Knowledge
Candidates applying for these roles must possess strong technical knowledge relevant to their field. Instrument Technicians should have experience in industrial instrumentation, electrical systems, and calibration procedures, along with the ability to read technical drawings and manuals. Scaffolder applicants must hold valid Original TUV certification and have practical experience in erecting and dismantling scaffolding in industrial environments. Experience in Gulf or Aramco-related projects is considered an added advantage, especially for long-term industrial assignments.
