Work Permit Receiver (5 Nos)
Permit control is a critical part of industrial construction and pipeline operations, where potentially hazardous activities must be authorized, coordinated, and monitored according to established procedures. Gulf Pak General Contracting Est. is currently recruiting Aramco-certified Work Permit Receivers (WPRs) for a long-term project. Five positions are available, with the assignment initially covering 12 months and the possibility of extension.
WPR Professionals Needed for Pipeline Operations
A Work Permit Receiver is responsible for helping ensure that work activities are carried out only after the appropriate permit requirements have been satisfied. The position involves coordinating with supervisors, work crews, and other site personnel before and during permitted activities.
For pipeline-related operations, permit control requires careful attention to work locations, hazards, required precautions, and the conditions specified in the permit. An experienced WPR should be able to communicate clearly with different teams while maintaining a strong focus on site procedures and safety requirements.
Responsibilities and Site Coordination
The selected WPRs may be involved in receiving and coordinating work permits, checking that required controls are in place, communicating permit conditions to work crews, and monitoring activities within the approved scope. They may also coordinate with relevant site representatives when work conditions change or additional authorization is required.
Good documentation skills and attention to detail are important because permit-related information must remain accurate and properly communicated. Candidates should also be comfortable working in an active pipeline environment and following established project procedures.
Certification and Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must be Aramco-certified Work Permit Receivers. This recruitment has a specific requirement: the WPR card must be associated with CAPD (Central Area Pipeline Department) and carry Organization Code 30002323.
The advertisement also states that a Vendor Code is mandatory. Candidates should therefore verify that their WPR card and vendor documentation meet these requirements before submitting their documents. The recruitment notice lists normal documents as part of the application process.
