Work Permit Receiver (WPR) – SAR 18 per hour
A Work Permit Receiver (WPR) plays an important role in maintaining safe and controlled work activities on industrial and infrastructure projects. For the Project, AAMC is urgently seeking experienced WPR personnel who can manage and coordinate work permits according to established safety procedures. The position requires candidates with previous Overhead Transmission Line project experience, as the role involves working within a controlled environment where proper authorization, communication, and compliance are essential. The selected candidates will be required to mobilize immediately and will receive a rate of SAR 18 per hour. A competent WPR helps ensure that work activities begin only after all required safety conditions and approvals have been confirmed.
Core Duties & Responsibilities
The selected Work Permit Receiver will be responsible for receiving, reviewing, and managing work permits before work begins. The candidate must ensure that permit conditions are properly understood and followed by the relevant work team. Responsibilities may include coordinating with authorized personnel, confirming that required safety precautions are in place, checking work locations and applicable restrictions, and maintaining proper communication throughout the permitted activity. The WPR must also ensure that workers follow the conditions stated on the permit and immediately report unsafe situations or deviations to the appropriate supervisor or safety representative. Proper documentation, permit validity, coordination with other site teams, and compliance with project procedures will be important parts of the daily responsibilities.
Required Competencies & Experience
Applicants should have practical experience as a Work Permit Receiver, preferably gained on Overhead Transmission Line projects or similar industrial and infrastructure assignments. Candidates should understand work permit systems, site safety requirements, hazard controls, and communication procedures. The ability to carefully read and follow permit conditions is essential, along with the confidence to coordinate with supervisors, workers, and other authorized project personnel. Candidates must also possess the required employment and identification documents, including a valid Iqama, passport, Muqeem, Body Fitness Certificate, and GOSI Paper. Attention to safety, responsibility, discipline, and the ability to work according to project procedures will be important qualities for this position.
