WPR (6 Months)
Industrial projects require experienced safety personnel who understand permit procedures, site hazards, and the importance of maintaining compliance before work begins. One such opportunity is currently available for Work Permit Receivers (WPR) for a project in Jafurah. The recruitment is aimed at candidates who can manage permit-related responsibilities in a demanding project environment and who already meet the required approval and documentation standards.
The Role of a Work Permit Receiver
A Work Permit Receiver is responsible for ensuring that work activities are carried out under the correct permit conditions. The position requires close coordination with supervisors, safety teams, and other site personnel. An effective WPR understands the scope of permitted work, checks that necessary precautions are in place, and helps ensure that workers follow the conditions specified in the permit. This makes the role particularly important on large industrial projects where multiple activities may take place simultaneously.
Responsibilities and Daily Site Duties
The selected WPRs will be expected to handle permit-related activities and coordinate with relevant site teams before and during assigned work. Their duties may include reviewing permit requirements, confirming workplace conditions, communicating safety precautions to workers, and coordinating with authorized personnel when work conditions change. They should remain alert to potential hazards and ensure that activities remain within the approved permit scope. Strong communication, careful documentation, and the ability to work responsibly under site procedures will be essential.
Candidate Profile and Eligibility
Applicants should have the required experience and credentials for WPR duties and must be able to satisfy the stated approval requirements. Aramco approval is specifically required, along with an Aramco Contractor ID and a valid Safety Training Letter. Candidates must also have valid identification and supporting documentation, including Iqama, Muqeem with at least three months’ validity, passport, photograph, and valid medical documentation. Indian candidates are preferred, although applicants of other nationalities may also be considered. Candidates should be prepared to undergo document screening followed by internal and client interviews.
