WPR, Inspectors, Pipe Fitters, Pipe Fabricators and Helpers
Industrial refinery, tank, piping, and maintenance projects require qualified technical professionals and skilled workers to maintain safe and efficient operations. AZMI GULF COMPANY has announced two urgent recruitment requirements dated 27 August 2026, covering specialist inspection positions in Jizan and piping-related roles across Tanajib, Murjan, and Riyas NGL Jubail. The vacancies include WPR, Mechanical Inspector, Welding Inspector, Painting Inspector, Pipe Fitter, Pipe Fabricator, and Helper positions. Several roles require recognized industry certifications, while FAT is provided and the assignments are described as long term.
Specialist Roles for Refinery and Industrial Work
The first recruitment requirement focuses on positions connected with the Jizan/Bish Aramco refinery project. WPR candidates must hold Aramco approval, while technical inspection positions require specific professional certifications. The second requirement focuses on piping and support manpower for projects in Tanajib, Murjan, and Riyas NGL Jubail. These roles are important for fabrication, installation, inspection, and general project support.
Duties and Responsibilities Across the Vacancies
The WPR position involves receiving and managing work permits and ensuring that work teams understand the conditions associated with authorized activities. The Mechanical Inspector (Tank) may be responsible for inspecting tank-related mechanical work and verifying activities against applicable requirements, including API 653 standards.
Welding Inspectors are responsible for monitoring welding activities, checking workmanship, and supporting inspection and quality requirements. The Painting Inspector works with coating and painting activities and may verify surface preparation and application requirements.
Pipe Fitters are generally involved in pipe positioning, alignment, fitting, and installation, while Pipe Fabricators prepare and assemble pipe components according to project specifications. Helpers support skilled workers with material handling, tools, preparation, and other assigned site activities.
Certification, Skills and Eligibility
The specialist positions have clearly defined certification requirements. The Mechanical Inspector vacancy requires API 653 qualification, while the Welding Inspector position requires CSWIP 3.1 or CWI. The Painting Inspector position requires BGAS-NACE II certification. For the WPR role, Aramco approval is mandatory, and the advertisement states that no interview is required when the candidate has an Aramco card.
