Pipe Fitters support piping installation, modification, and maintenance activities. They work with pipes, fittings, valves, flanges, and related components, helping ensure proper measurement, alignment, and preparation for installation or welding.
Helpers provide valuable support to skilled workers and supervisors. Their duties may include moving materials, preparing tools, maintaining work areas, and assisting with general shutdown activities.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
WPR personnel may review and communicate work permit conditions, coordinate with supervisors and work crews, and help ensure activities remain within the approved work scope. They should remain alert to changes in site conditions and follow established permit and safety procedures.
