Scope of Work
The selected workforce will be involved in shutdown-related activities where safety and precision are top priorities. Work Permit Receivers will be responsible for controlling and verifying all permits before work begins, ensuring compliance with site safety procedures. Safety Officers will continuously monitor site conditions, conduct inspections, and enforce safety regulations to prevent incidents. Rigger Level II personnel will manage lifting operations, handle rigging equipment, and ensure safe movement of heavy loads as per approved lifting plans. All workers must coordinate with supervisors and other departments to ensure smooth execution of tasks. They are also expected to maintain discipline, follow instructions, and ensure that all operations are carried out safely and efficiently within the shutdown timeline.
Required Expertise
Applicants must have relevant industrial experience, preferably in shutdown or maintenance projects within petrochemical or oil & gas environments. Work Permit Receivers should have strong knowledge of permit systems and safety authorization procedures. Safety Officers must be well-trained in hazard control, risk assessment, and emergency response procedures. Rigger Level II candidates should be skilled in rigging techniques, load handling, and safe lifting practices. All candidates must be physically fit and capable of working in demanding site conditions. Familiarity with SABIC or Petrokemya safety standards will be an added advantage. Valid certifications, including safety training and medical fitness approval, are mandatory for eligibility.
