Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) Technician
An Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) Technician plays a vital role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting electrical and instrumentation systems within industrial facilities. These professionals are responsible for ensuring that equipment, control systems, and instruments operate efficiently and safely. Key Responsibilities and Job Duties
The selected E&I Technicians will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting of electrical and instrumentation equipment. Duties include monitoring control systems, calibrating instruments, diagnosing electrical faults, and performing preventive maintenance activities. Technicians will also assist in testing equipment performance, reading technical drawings, and ensuring compliance with operational and safety standards.
Additional responsibilities include supporting maintenance teams during shutdowns, repairing faulty components, documenting maintenance activities, and ensuring that all electrical and instrumentation systems function effectively. Candidates must follow company safety procedures and maintain high-quality workmanship throughout the project duration.
Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications
Applicants should possess relevant experience in electrical and instrumentation maintenance within industrial, petrochemical, or manufacturing environments. Strong knowledge of control systems, instrumentation devices, electrical circuits, and maintenance procedures is preferred. Candidates must be capable of reading technical diagrams and performing troubleshooting tasks independently.
Good communication skills, teamwork, and adherence to safety standards are essential. All required documents must be submitted in color copies, and candidates must provide an original passport for processing. Previous Gulf project experience will be considered an advantage.
