Description
The Maintenance Technician role under the MAADEN project in Saudi Arabia is a vital position supporting industrial operations in petrochemical, oil & gas, and cement plant environments. This job focuses on ensuring the smooth functioning of heavy industrial equipment, production systems, and mechanical-electrical infrastructure. Technicians and supervisors working in this project play a key role in reducing downtime, improving productivity, and maintaining high operational safety standards. With a duration of six months and immediate mobilization, this opportunity is designed for experienced professionals who are capable of handling high-pressure maintenance environments where precision, technical expertise, and safety awareness are essential for continuous plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidates will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery, conveyors, electrical systems, and instrumentation equipment. Conveyor Technicians and Supervisors will ensure belt systems operate efficiently without interruption, while Electrical Engineers and Technicians will handle troubleshooting, wiring, and system maintenance. Fabricators, Pipe Fitters, and Welders will be responsible for structural and piping works, ensuring strong and safe installation standards. Instrument Technicians and Supervisors will monitor and calibrate control systems to maintain operational accuracy. Fire Watch personnel will ensure safety compliance during hot work activities. Mechanical Foremen and Machinists will supervise workshop operations and machine-related tasks. Storekeepers and Toolkeepers will manage inventory, tools, and materials to support continuous workflow. All roles require strict adherence to safety procedures and coordination with site engineers to maintain smooth project execution.
Skills and Knowledge
Candidates must have strong technical knowledge in industrial maintenance, particularly within petrochemical, oil & gas, cement, or large-scale manufacturing industries. A minimum of four years’ experience in maintenance-related fields is required for all categories. Applicants should be familiar with troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, interpreting technical drawings, and working with industrial tools and machinery. Knowledge of safety regulations, especially in high-risk environments, is essential. Strong problem-solving skills, teamwork ability, and attention to detail are required to ensure efficient maintenance operations. Supervisory roles require leadership experience and the ability to manage teams under strict deadlines while maintaining quality and safety standards.
