This job opportunity is part of a critical shutdown maintenance project where multiple technical and safety roles are required to ensure smooth and safe operations. The main purpose of these positions is to support maintenance activities, equipment inspection, system repair, and safety supervision in industrial facilities. Electrical and Instrument Technicians will handle installation, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and control systems. Permit Receivers, Fire Watch personnel, and Safety Officers will ensure all activities are conducted under approved safety permits and strict hazard control procedures. These roles are extremely important in preventing accidents, maintaining operational integrity, and ensuring compliance with industrial safety regulations during shutdown execution.
Key Responsibilities
Selected candidates will be responsible for performing specialized technical and safety-related tasks depending on their role. Electrical Technicians will install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems, ensuring proper functioning of equipment during shutdown activities. Instrument Technicians will handle calibration, repair, and testing of control systems and field instruments. Permit Receivers will coordinate work permits, ensuring all safety requirements are met before job execution. Fire Watch personnel will monitor hot work areas to prevent fire hazards and respond quickly in case of emergencies. Safety Officers will enforce site safety rules, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards throughout the project duration.
Skills and Knowledge
Applicants must have strong hands-on experience in shutdown projects within the oil and gas or petrochemical industry. Electrical and Instrument Technicians should have solid knowledge of industrial systems, troubleshooting techniques, and maintenance procedures. Permit Receivers and Safety Officers must be familiar with Aramco or similar industrial permit systems, including safety documentation and risk assessment processes. Fire Watch personnel should have awareness of fire prevention techniques and emergency response procedures. All candidates must be physically fit, able to work in high-pressure environments, and possess strong understanding of workplace safety standards. Valid certifications, prior shutdown experience, and teamwork ability are essential for all positions.
