Description
The Helper role is a fundamental position within industrial and construction projects, providing essential support to technicians, supervisors, and engineers. The purpose of this job is to assist in daily site activities such as material handling, equipment movement, cleaning work areas, and supporting skilled tradesmen in their tasks. This role plays a vital part in maintaining efficiency and ensuring that operations run smoothly without delays. Key Responsibilities
The selected candidates will be responsible for performing general labor duties under supervision. This includes assisting skilled workers in carrying tools and materials, preparing work areas, and supporting installation or maintenance activities. Helpers are also required to maintain cleanliness and safety standards at the site by removing waste materials and organizing equipment properly. They may be assigned tasks such as loading and unloading materials, supporting welding or mechanical teams, and following instructions from supervisors carefully. In addition, they must follow all safety regulations and wear proper protective equipment while working on-site to avoid accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
Skills and Knowledge
Applicants for the Helper position should have basic knowledge of construction site operations and must be physically fit to perform manual labor.
