Description

Key Responsibilities
The Fire Watch professional is responsible for observing all hot work operations and ensuring that no fire hazards are present in the working area. They continuously monitor sparks, heat, or any unsafe conditions during welding or cutting activities and immediately report any risk to the safety supervisor or concerned authority. The role also includes maintaining a fire-safe environment by ensuring fire extinguishers and safety equipment are readily available and in working condition. Fire Watch personnel are expected to restrict unauthorized access to hazardous zones and maintain strict compliance with site safety rules. Additionally, they must maintain accurate logs of activities and ensure that safety protocols are followed throughout the shift without any compromise.
Skills and Knowledge
A Fire Watch candidate must possess basic knowledge of industrial safety standards and hazard identification techniques.
