This job opportunity is part of the offshore oil and gas construction sector in Saudi Arabia, specifically focused on Firewatch and Tube Fitter positions required for a short-term project in Ras Tanura. Key Responsibilities
Firewatch personnel will be responsible for observing work areas where welding, cutting, or hot work is being performed. They must ensure fire safety equipment is ready, monitor potential hazards, and act immediately in case of emergency situations. They are also required to maintain constant vigilance and strictly follow offshore safety protocols throughout the shift.
Tube Fitters will be responsible for measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing piping systems according to engineering drawings and offshore specifications. They must ensure proper alignment, secure fittings, and leak-free installations. Both roles require strict adherence to safety guidelines, coordination with supervisors, and maintaining discipline in a high-risk offshore working environment.
Skills and Knowledge
Candidates applying for Firewatch positions must have valid BOSIET certification, H2S training, and gas testing knowledge. Awareness of offshore safety procedures and emergency response protocols is essential. Physical alertness, focus, and the ability to work in hazardous environments are critical requirements for this role.
For Tube Fitters, prior experience in offshore or industrial piping work is required, along with the ability to read technical drawings and perform accurate pipe installations.
