Mechanical Fitters, Mechanical Helpers, Rigger Level III, and Welder/Fabricators
ANE Contracting Company is currently seeking experienced manpower for an urgent shutdown project. A total of 48 workers are required across four different job categories, including Mechanical Fitters, Mechanical Helpers, Rigger Level III, and Welder/Fabricators. The positions are suitable for candidates who have relevant shutdown or industrial project experience and can mobilize immediately. Selected workers will receive Food, Accommodation, and Transportation (FAT) from the company during the project. Candidates must have a valid Iqama and be prepared to complete the recruitment process according to the employer’s requirements.
Core Duties & Responsibilities
Mechanical Fitter
Mechanical Fitters will be responsible for installation, dismantling, maintenance, alignment, and repair of mechanical equipment and industrial components during shutdown activities. Candidates should be capable of reading basic technical drawings, using mechanical tools safely, and supporting maintenance work according to site procedures and safety standards.
Mechanical Helper
Mechanical Helpers will assist fitters and other mechanical personnel with equipment handling, tools, material movement, cleaning, preparation, and general shutdown activities. The role requires willingness to work in an industrial environment, follow instructions carefully, and maintain safe working practices throughout the project.
Rigger Level III
Rigger Level III personnel will support lifting and shifting operations by preparing loads, selecting appropriate lifting equipment, securing materials, and assisting with safe movement of heavy components. Candidates should understand rigging procedures, load handling, lifting signals, and workplace safety requirements.
Welder/Fabricator
Welder/Fabricators will perform welding, cutting, fabrication, fitting, and repair work related to industrial shutdown activities. Candidates should be familiar with welding equipment, fabrication tools, measurements, and safe working procedures. Previous experience in industrial or shutdown projects will be preferred.
Candidate Requirements & Knowledge
The employer prefers experienced candidates who can immediately join the shutdown workforce. Applicants should have practical knowledge relevant to their selected position and be physically prepared for industrial site work. A valid Iqama is required, and candidates must bring their physical Iqama card during the recruitment process. Applicants should also carry their original passport for submission as requested. Good discipline, punctuality, safety awareness, and the ability to work as part of a team are important for all positions.
