Role Importance in Plant Maintenance Operations
Millwrights and Pipe Fitters play a crucial role in maintaining and installing mechanical systems in petrochemical plants. Millwrights are responsible for machinery alignment, installation, and mechanical maintenance, ensuring equipment operates smoothly and efficiently. Pipe Fitters handle installation and repair of piping systems that carry essential fluids and gases within the plant. Both roles are critical for ensuring uninterrupted plant operations, safety compliance, and system reliability.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Selected candidates will be responsible for performing mechanical installation, alignment, and maintenance tasks depending on their trade. Millwrights will handle rotating equipment, machinery alignment, and troubleshooting mechanical systems. Pipe Fitters will cut, assemble, and install piping systems according to technical drawings and specifications. All workers must follow strict safety procedures, work under supervisor guidance, and ensure compliance with plant regulations. Daily 12-hour duties require discipline and physical endurance.
Skills, Experience, and Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must have relevant industrial experience in millwright or pipe fitting work, preferably in petrochemical or plant environments. Strong knowledge of mechanical tools, piping systems, and installation procedures is required. Candidates must be physically fit and capable of working long shifts. AJEER is mandatory for this project, along with valid iqama with at least 3 months validity. Applicants must also provide chamber, Muqeem, passport copy, CR copy, and health insurance documents in color format.
