Key Responsibilities

Millwright Technicians are responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heavy industrial machinery, ensuring that equipment is properly aligned and functioning. Riggers (Level 2 and Level 3) handle lifting operations, load securing, and safe movement of heavy materials using cranes and rigging tools. Cladders are responsible for installing protective layers on pipes and structures to ensure insulation and safety compliance in industrial environments. Insulators focus on applying insulation materials to pipes and equipment to control temperature and improve energy efficiency. All workers must follow strict safety procedures, attend toolbox meetings, and coordinate with supervisors to ensure smooth execution of shutdown tasks. Proper handling of tools and adherence to work instructions are essential for all positions.

Skills and Knowledge

Applicants must have relevant experience in industrial shutdown or maintenance projects, preferably in oil, gas, or mining sectors. Millwright Technicians should have strong mechanical knowledge and experience in equipment installation and alignment. Riggers must be certified and experienced in safe lifting operations, with good understanding of load handling and rigging plans. Cladders and Insulators should be skilled in material application techniques and familiar with industrial safety standards. All candidates must be physically fit, disciplined, and capable of working in demanding site conditions. Basic communication skills, teamwork ability, and awareness of safety protocols are required for all positions.
