Primary Duties and Job Responsibilities
Pipe Fitters are responsible for installing, assembling, repairing, and maintaining industrial piping systems according to engineering specifications and fabrication drawings. They measure, cut, align, and fit pipes while ensuring accurate installation of fittings, valves, flanges, and supports. The role requires interpreting fabrication and isometric drawings, inspecting completed work for quality, coordinating with welders and supervisors, and ensuring all piping installations comply with project standards and safety regulations. Pipe Fitters are also expected to maintain tools and equipment, identify installation issues, and work efficiently to meet project deadlines while following all HSE requirements.
Professional Qualifications and Required Skills
Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Pipe Fitter in industrial, refinery, petrochemical, or oil & gas projects. Fabrication drawing knowledge is mandatory, and candidates should be capable of reading and interpreting piping drawings accurately. A valid Aramco Vendor Code and Chamber Registration are compulsory requirements for this position. Candidates should possess excellent technical skills, strong problem-solving abilities, teamwork, and a thorough understanding of industrial safety standards. Immediate availability for mobilization will be considered an advantage.
