Pipe Fitter / Work Permit Receiver / SBM / Fire Watch / Supervisor / Foreman
Description
Saudi Arabia’s industrial and construction sectors continue to create strong employment opportunities for skilled technical workers and supervisors. Large-scale projects in Maaden and other industrial areas require experienced manpower to support daily plant operations, shutdown activities, maintenance work, and safety compliance. Companies are actively hiring qualified candidates for important categories including Pipe Fitters, Work Permit Receivers (WPR), SBM/Fire Watch personnel, Mechanical Supervisors, and Mechanical Foremen. These positions are considered essential because industrial projects depend on skilled workers to maintain productivity, safety standards, and operational efficiency across all departments.
Pipe Fitters play a major role in assembling, installing, and maintaining piping systems used in industrial plants and mechanical facilities. Work Permit Receivers are responsible for managing permit systems and ensuring that all activities follow safety procedures before work begins. SBM and Fire Watch staff help monitor hazardous work areas and prevent accidents during hot work operations. Mechanical Supervisors and Mechanical Foremen lead teams, coordinate field activities, and ensure project tasks are completed according to engineering standards and company requirements. The growing demand for these categories reflects the rapid expansion of industrial projects throughout Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidates will perform various operational and technical duties depending on their job category. Pipe Fitters will handle pipe installation, alignment, fabrication support, and maintenance activities while ensuring accurate measurements and proper fitting procedures. Work Permit Receivers will coordinate with safety departments, verify worksite conditions, review permits, and ensure compliance with industrial safety regulations before authorizing work activities. SBM and Fire Watch personnel will continuously monitor active work locations, identify hazards, maintain safety readiness, and assist in emergency prevention measures.
Mechanical Supervisors will oversee manpower distribution, monitor work progress, prepare daily reports, and ensure that all mechanical activities meet project schedules and quality standards. Mechanical Foremen will supervise field crews, manage equipment usage, coordinate site activities, and assist supervisors in maintaining workflow efficiency. All workers are expected to follow company regulations, maintain discipline at worksites, and cooperate with project management teams to achieve safe and successful project completion.
Skills and Knowledge
Applicants should possess industrial project experience and strong knowledge related to their respective job roles. Pipe Fitters must understand piping drawings, measurement techniques, and installation procedures commonly used in industrial plants. Work Permit Receivers should have valid TUV certification along with good understanding of permit systems, risk assessment procedures, and workplace safety requirements. Fire Watch and SBM personnel must be alert, safety-focused, and capable of responding quickly to hazardous situations during operations.
Mechanical Supervisors and Mechanical Foremen should have leadership abilities, field coordination experience, and practical knowledge of static mechanical activities within industrial environments. Candidates with experience in shutdown projects, plant maintenance, and industrial construction will receive preference. Good communication skills, teamwork, physical fitness, and the ability to work under pressure are highly important for all categories. Applicants must also ensure their documents remain valid and complete before attending interviews or joining project activities.
