Key Responsibilities
The selected QC professionals will be responsible for ensuring that all construction and fabrication work is carried out according to approved quality standards and project specifications. QC Supervisors (E&I) will oversee electrical and instrumentation inspection activities, ensuring compliance with engineering drawings and safety requirements. Welding QC Inspectors will monitor welding procedures, conduct inspections, and verify welding quality according to Aramco standards and applicable codes. Mechanical QC Inspectors will be responsible for inspecting mechanical installations, equipment alignment, and structural integrity. All inspectors must prepare detailed reports, document inspection results, and report any non-conformities to project management. Coordination with site engineers, contractors, and safety teams is essential to ensure smooth workflow and quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.
Skills and Knowledge
Candidates must have Aramco approval and proven experience in quality control within oil, gas, or large industrial projects. For QC Supervisor (E&I), strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems is required along with experience in inspection procedures. Welding QC Inspectors must be familiar with welding codes, procedures, and testing methods such as NDT (Non-Destructive Testing). Mechanical QC Inspectors should have expertise in mechanical systems, equipment inspection, and installation standards. All applicants must be able to read technical drawings, understand project specifications, and prepare accurate inspection reports. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under strict deadlines are essential. Previous experience in Saudi Aramco projects will be considered a strong advantage.
