Overview of the Role
Jabal Al Safat Trading Est is urgently hiring Safety Officers for an industrial project in Saudi Arabia with immediate interview and mobilization. The role of a Safety Officer is essential in ensuring workplace safety, risk control, and compliance with industrial health and safety standards. In high-risk environments such as construction, oil, and gas projects, Safety Officers are responsible for preventing accidents, enforcing safety regulations, and maintaining safe working conditions for all employees. Candidates with relevant experience and complete documentation will be prioritized for immediate selection.
Key Responsibilities and Work Scope
Selected Safety Officers will be responsible for monitoring daily site activities and ensuring compliance with approved safety procedures. Their duties include conducting regular site inspections, identifying potential hazards, and implementing corrective measures to eliminate risks. They will conduct toolbox talks, guide workers on safe practices, and ensure proper usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). Safety Officers must also maintain incident reports, coordinate with supervisors and engineers, and ensure that all work activities are performed in accordance with safety regulations. Their role is critical in maintaining a safe and controlled working environment throughout the project.
Skills, Experience, and Required Knowledge
Candidates must have prior experience working as Safety Officers in industrial, construction, or shutdown projects. Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety standards is essential. Applicants must ensure that Absher Iqama and Muqeem documents are valid and properly maintained with at least 3 months validity. Medical fitness certificate, CR copy, and chamber registration are mandatory requirements. Strong communication skills, leadership ability, and attention to detail are required to manage site safety effectively. Candidates must be capable of working under pressure in demanding industrial environments.
