The Safety Supervisor position is focused on ensuring that all construction and industrial activities are carried out safely and in accordance with approved procedures. This role is especially critical in Aramco-approved environments where strict safety protocols must be followed without exception. The supervisor will be responsible for observing site operations, identifying potential risks, and implementing corrective measures immediately. The purpose of this role is to reduce workplace incidents, protect workers, and ensure smooth project execution. In addition, the position plays a key role in maintaining compliance with Saudi Arabian industrial safety regulations and client-specific requirements throughout the project duration in Juaimah.
Key Responsibilities
The Safety Supervisor will be responsible for conducting daily site inspections to ensure all safety standards are being followed properly. This includes monitoring workers’ behavior, checking the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and ensuring that hazardous activities are controlled under proper permits. The supervisor must prepare safety reports, conduct toolbox talks, and coordinate with site engineers and management to address safety concerns. Immediate action must be taken in case of unsafe conditions or violations. The role also includes ensuring that all Aramco safety guidelines are strictly implemented and that workers are fully aware of emergency procedures and risk prevention methods.
Skills and Knowledge
Candidates must have strong experience in industrial safety supervision, preferably in oil and gas or Aramco-approved projects. A solid understanding of hazard identification, risk assessment, and safety compliance procedures is essential. Applicants should be familiar with site inspection techniques and emergency response planning. Good communication skills are required to effectively guide workers and coordinate with management teams. Certification in safety management or related fields will be considered an advantage. The ability to work under pressure, make quick decisions, and enforce safety rules strictly is highly important for success in this role. Experience in GCC projects will be preferred.
