Overview of the Role
This urgent requirement is announced for a major shutdown maintenance project in Maaden/PKS/APPC locations, where skilled and semi-skilled manpower is needed to support critical industrial operations. Shutdown projects in the mining and petrochemical sector require highly coordinated technical work to ensure safe maintenance, repair, and inspection of plant systems within a limited timeframe. The available positions include piping, supervision, safety, and permit control roles, all of which are essential for maintaining operational efficiency and strict safety compliance during shutdown execution. Candidates with relevant industrial experience and proper documentation will be prioritized for immediate interview and mobilization.
Key Responsibilities and Work Scope
Selected candidates will be assigned duties according to their respective roles. Pipe Fitters will handle installation, alignment, and maintenance of piping systems as per technical drawings and site requirements. Static Supervisors and Foremen will oversee maintenance activities, coordinate teams, and ensure quality execution of shutdown tasks. Permit Receivers will manage work permits and ensure all activities are properly authorized before execution. Standby Men will monitor high-risk activities and ensure safety compliance at all times. All personnel must strictly follow safety procedures, report hazards immediately, and coordinate effectively with site engineers and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow during shutdown operations.
Skills, Experience, and Required Knowledge
Applicants must have relevant experience in oil, gas, petrochemical, or industrial shutdown projects. Pipe Fitters should possess strong technical skills in piping systems and maintenance work. Supervisory and Foreman roles require leadership experience and knowledge of static equipment maintenance operations. Permit Receivers must be familiar with permit-to-work systems and safety documentation procedures. Standby Men should have basic safety awareness and experience in monitoring hazardous work environments. All candidates must hold valid documents including updated CV, Iqama, passport copy, Muqeem (minimum 3 months validity), body fitness certificate, insurance, chamber registration, and Ajeer registration for Maaden projects.
