Store Keepers play a critical role in managing inventory, maintaining material records, controlling stock movements, and ensuring that project operations receive the necessary materials and equipment on time. Primary Job Responsibilities
Store Keepers are responsible for receiving, inspecting, recording, storing, and issuing materials according to company procedures. They maintain accurate inventory records, monitor stock levels, prepare material reports, and coordinate with procurement and project departments to ensure uninterrupted material availability.
Additional responsibilities include organizing warehouse operations, conducting inventory audits, maintaining documentation, verifying incoming and outgoing materials, and ensuring proper storage practices. Store Keepers must also follow company policies and maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment.
Required Skills, Qualifications and Knowledge
Applicants should possess a minimum of two years of Store Keeper experience and demonstrate strong knowledge of inventory management, warehouse operations, and stock control procedures. Experience in industrial, construction, or project environments will be considered an advantage.
Candidates should have good organizational skills, attention to detail, computer literacy, and the ability to maintain accurate records. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with multiple departments are highly desirable.
