Trailer Driver
A Trailer Driver is responsible for transporting heavy materials, equipment, and project-related cargo safely and efficiently between designated locations. Key Responsibilities and Job Duties
The selected Trailer Drivers will be responsible for operating trailers to transport materials and equipment safely to project locations. Daily duties include conducting vehicle inspections before operation, checking tires, brakes, lights, and other essential systems to ensure roadworthiness. Drivers must maintain transportation records, follow designated routes, and comply with all traffic and safety regulations.
Additional responsibilities include coordinating with logistics teams, ensuring proper loading and unloading of cargo, and reporting any mechanical issues or transportation delays. Drivers are expected to maintain vehicle cleanliness, follow company procedures, and ensure the safe handling of transported materials throughout the project duration.
Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications
Applicants should have proven experience operating trailers and heavy transport vehicles. A valid iqama and required employment documentation are mandatory for eligibility. Candidates must possess strong knowledge of road safety regulations, defensive driving practices, and vehicle maintenance basics.
