Project Introduction
This hiring campaign is designed to support a major industrial shutdown project requiring a full team of technical, mechanical, and safety professionals. The purpose of these roles is to assist in maintenance, repair, inspection, and installation activities within a limited shutdown period. Such projects are critical in ensuring uninterrupted plant operations and long-term equipment performance. Workers will be part of a highly coordinated team where precision, discipline, and safety awareness are essential for successful execution.
Role Duties
Each category of worker will have specific responsibilities depending on their trade. QA/QC Inspectors will handle quality verification and welding inspection reports. Piping Supervisors and Foremen will coordinate fabrication and installation activities at site level. Pipe Fabricators and Fitters will perform cutting, alignment, and assembly work based on technical drawings. Riggers will be responsible for safe lifting operations, while Fire Watch and Standby personnel will monitor hazardous work zones. Safety Supervisors and Officers will ensure compliance with industrial safety rules and manage risk control measures throughout the shutdown process.
Required Experience & Skills
Candidates must have prior experience in shutdown or industrial maintenance projects, especially within oil and gas environments. Strong technical knowledge, ability to read engineering drawings, and understanding of permit-to-work systems are highly required. Safety awareness is a key requirement for all positions due to the high-risk nature of shutdown activities. Preference will be given to candidates with SABIC or MA’ADEN project experience. Applicants must also hold valid documentation, including Iqama, CV, and relevant certifications, along with physical fitness to handle demanding site conditions.
