Key Responsibilities
Workers in this category will be assigned different responsibilities based on their roles. WPR personnel will manage work permits and ensure all activities are authorized and compliant with safety regulations. Safety Officers will monitor site operations, enforce safety protocols, and conduct hazard assessments to prevent accidents. Jetters will be responsible for high-pressure cleaning and maintenance of industrial equipment and pipelines. Firewatch and standby personnel will remain alert during hot work activities to ensure fire safety compliance. HD Drivers will handle transportation of materials and equipment within the site, while Helpers and Flagmen will support general site operations, including material handling, traffic control, and assisting skilled workers. All employees must follow instructions from supervisors and maintain strict adherence to shutdown safety procedures.
Skills and Knowledge
Applicants should possess relevant experience in industrial shutdown or maintenance projects. Knowledge of safety procedures, especially in oil and gas environments, is highly preferred. Safety Officers must hold recognized certifications and have strong understanding of risk assessment and hazard control. Jetters should be familiar with high-pressure equipment and cleaning systems.
