The WPR (Work Permit Receiver) and Scaffolder roles are essential positions in large-scale industrial construction and maintenance projects. These jobs ensure that all site activities are carried out safely under strict Aramco guidelines. The purpose of these roles is to maintain operational safety, manage work permits efficiently, and ensure proper scaffolding installation for construction activities. Key Responsibilities
Candidates selected for the WPR role will be responsible for receiving, verifying, and managing work permits according to Aramco safety regulations. They must ensure that all site activities are authorized, properly documented, and conducted in a controlled environment. Coordination with safety officers, supervisors, and site engineers is also a major part of the job.
Scaffolders will be responsible for assembling, inspecting, and dismantling scaffolding structures used in construction and maintenance work. They must ensure that all scaffolding systems are stable, secure, and compliant with safety standards. Regular inspection of equipment and immediate reporting of hazards are also required duties.
Skills and Knowledge
Applicants for the WPR position must have strong knowledge of Aramco safety procedures, permit-to-work systems, and site documentation processes. Experience in industrial projects is essential, along with good communication skills and attention to detail. Certification in Aramco approval will be considered a strong advantage.
For Scaffolders, practical experience in industrial scaffolding systems is mandatory. Candidates should be familiar with TUV standards, vendor code requirements (especially for Marjan projects), and safe working procedures at height. Physical fitness, technical understanding, and teamwork skills are also required to perform efficiently in demanding site conditions.
