Fire Watch (50 Positions)
Mission Future Contracting Company (MFC) is urgently hiring Fire Watch personnel for ongoing industrial projects in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia. The Fire Watch role is a critical industrial safety position responsible for monitoring hot work activities such as welding, cutting, and grinding. The main purpose of this job is to prevent fire hazards and ensure strict safety compliance at construction and industrial sites. This role is especially important in high-risk environments where continuous monitoring is required to avoid accidents and ensure worker safety.
Key Responsibilities and Job Duties
The Fire Watch personnel will be responsible for continuously monitoring designated hot work areas to ensure that no fire hazards occur during operations. Duties include observing welding and cutting activities, ensuring fire extinguishers and safety equipment are available, and immediately responding to any smoke, fire, or unsafe conditions.
Workers must maintain constant alertness throughout the duty period and ensure that all safety procedures are strictly followed by on-site workers. Fire Watch personnel are also required to report any safety violations or hazardous conditions to supervisors immediately. Post-work monitoring may also be required to ensure the area remains safe after hot work is completed.
Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications
Applicants should have basic experience in industrial or construction safety roles. Knowledge of fire safety procedures, hazard awareness, and emergency response is essential. Candidates must be physically fit, alert, and capable of working long hours in active construction environments.
A valid TUV certification is required for eligibility. Applicants must also have valid documentation including iqama, passport copy, muqeem, insurance, medical report, CR copy, and original passport.
