Role Overview and Professional Responsibilities
QA/QC personnel play a crucial role in ensuring that all construction and engineering activities meet international quality standards and project specifications. The QC Manager oversees the entire quality control system, ensuring compliance with project requirements and coordinating with client representatives. QC Supervisors in Mechanical, Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) manage inspection teams and ensure that all technical activities meet Aramco standards. QC Inspectors are responsible for conducting inspections, verifying materials, reviewing documentation, and ensuring adherence to approved procedures. Specialized inspectors in welding, piping, coating, valve testing, non-metallic materials, static and rotating equipment, cathodic protection, telecommunications, and heat treatment ensure that every aspect of the project meets strict quality benchmarks. RTFI personnel support inspection and reporting activities to maintain full traceability of project quality records.
Required Skills, Certifications, and Experience
Applicants must possess relevant academic qualifications and proven experience in Aramco or similar oil and gas offshore projects. Strong technical knowledge in QA/QC procedures, inspection techniques, and industry standards is essential. Candidates should be familiar with international codes and standards related to construction, fabrication, and testing activities. H2S certification and offshore medical fitness are mandatory for offshore assignments. Experience in handling vendor inspections, documentation control, and quality reporting is highly preferred.
